BKFC-38 is headlined by a highly anticipated featherweight clash between former BKFC Bantamweight World Champion Dat “Be Dat” Nguyen and two-time Bellator Featherweight champion Daniel Straus.

“This is the first time we’ve had to postpone and reschedule an event, but we’re thrilled to return to Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino with the new date of Friday, April 21,” said David Feldman, President of BKFC. “This is the fourth BKFC event at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino with our last three breaking attendance records for combat sports events at the venue. We anticipate April 21 to be another massive event for South Florida BKFC fans and strongly encourage fans to purchase in advance.”

Co-featured in the middleweight division, “Brutal” Jake Bostwick, (2-2), of London, England, battles Isaac“The Honey Badger” Doolittle, (3-1), of Manhattan, Kan. The all-action Bostwick returns to battle following a second-round knockout of Chris Fishgold on Aug. 20 at BKFC-27 in London. Doolittle looks to re-enter the win column following a hard-fought clash with world title challenger Mike Richman on Oct. 15, 2022, in Denver, Colo.

Fighting in the flyweight division, Tyler Randall, (2-1), of Cape Coral, Fla., hits the squared circle against Chancey “Superfly” Wilson, (2-2), of Wichita, Kan. Randall is coming off a hard-fought loss to Cary Caprio on June 24, 2022, at BKFC-26. Wilson also seeks a return to his winning ways after a hotly contested decision to JR Ridge on Nov. 5, 2022, at BKFC-32.

A longtime resident of Vero Beach, Fla., the fan-favorite Vietnamese-born Dat Nguyen, (3-1), won the BKFC Bantamweight World Title by defeating Champion Johnny Bedford in an outstanding fight at the first Knuckle Mania event on Feb. 5, 2021. The all-action Nguyen battled current BKFC Double Champ Luis Palomino at BKFC-22 on Nov. 12, 2021, valiantly losing a hotly contested decision in a sensational two-way battle. Nguyen also holds wins against Abdiel Velazquez and Travis Thompson under the BKFC banner.

Following an acclaimed run in Bellator, Daniel Straus made huge news in the international combat sports world by signing with BKFC in February 2023. He compiled an overall MMA record of 26 wins and 10 losses including victories over Patricio Pitbull, Henry Corrales, Marlon Sandro and Pat Curran. His Bellator Featherweight World Title victory over Patricio Pitbull was voted MMA Junkie’s Fight of the Month. The fight against Nguyen is his first under the BKFC banner.
