Cipresso, Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood’s contemporary twist on Italian-American fare, will set the stage for a romantic dinner with specials available Feb. 14. The restaurant will feature a lobster salad with burrata, candied hazelnut and roasted baby beets; grilled octopus with smoked fingerling potatoes, gremolata and ‘Nduja sauce; Alaskan king crab with sea urchin, squid ink linguine and tomato confit and a chocolate budino with almond crumbles and raspberry sorbet. Cipresso will be open 5 p.m. to midnight on Valentine’s Day.

Abiaka,the new wood fire grill restaurant at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, showcases the culinary techniques of solid fuel grilling inspired by South Florida’s unique, bold flavors. Overlooking the resort’s exceptional pool landscape, Abiaka is the perfect place to celebrate Valentine’s Day and will feature a $100 prix fixe menu featuring amuse-bouche, oysters with caviar, live scallop ceviche, grilled hearts of palm salad, grilled grouper, octopus romesco and braised wagyu short rib. Abiaka will be open from 5 to 10:30 p.m. on Valentine’s Day.

A staple of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, Council Oak Steaks & Seafood is a sophisticated choice for Valentine’s Day. Along with the regular menu, the classic-American steakhouse will offer a Valentine’s Day special appetizer of seafood étouffée featuring Cajun chorizo smothered lobster and crawfish with creamy white cheddar grits. In addition, featured entrees include seared U-10 scallops with wagyu A5 Spinalis, wild rice, corn and a sauce choron and a turbot with chanterelle mushrooms, fennel and smoked almond butter. Council Oak Steaks & Seafood will be open 5 to 11 p.m. on Valentine’s Day.

For Valentine’s Day, let Kuro’s culinary team do the hard work by preparing an appetizing Omakase special for $80. Kuro will be open 6 to 11:30 p.m. on Feb. 14.

Open 24/7 and boasting incredible views with its floor-to-ceiling glass, Rise will feature a $45 surf and turf special featuring petite filet and grilled stuffed lobster with a blood orange vin blanc, Worcestershire butter, herbed baby heirloom carrots and a parsnip puree.

At The Shoppes at The Guitar Hotel, Marky’s Caviar will feature a $90 pre-fixe menu on Feb. 14 including a glass of Laurent Perrier champagne, oysters with osetra caviar, Hamachi carpaccio, an heirloom tomato salad, duck for two and ends with a heart-shaped chocolate tart. Love to Laugh at The Comedy Club

Loveable comedian Carlos Mencia will perform multiple shows Thursday, Feb. 13 to Sunday, Feb. 16 at The Comedy Club. Mencia found success on the L.A comedy circuit and was named “International Comedy Grand Champion” from Buscando Estrellas (the Latino version of Star Search).
