Damon Wayans Jr. Joins January’s Jam-Packed Line Up at The Comedy Club at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood

Actor, comedian and writer Damon Wayans Jr. will take the stage at The Comedy Club Friday, Jan. 17 to Sunday, Jan. 19 performing a total of five shows. Tickets are $28 and are on sale now. Guests at The Comedy Club must be at least 18 years of age. The Comedy Club has a two-drink minimum per ticket (non-alcoholic drinks qualify). Wayans Jr. has been on tours all over the country selling out comedy shows since earning a standing ovation during his debut appearance on “Def Comedy Jam.” On the small screen, Wayans Jr. is widely known for his character Coach on the FOX sitcom “New Girl” and Brad Williams in the ABC sitcom “Happy Endings,” for which he was nominated for the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Supporting Actor.  Wayans Jr. has also starred in the comedy film “Let’s Be Cops,” and provided the voice of Wasabi in “Big Hero 6,” which won an Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film of the Year for the 2015 Academy Awards.

Wayans Jr. made his film debut when he was cast in his father, Damon Wayans’s, 1994 feature film, “Blankman,” playing Young Kevin. He also appeared as John on the sitcom “My Wife and Kids”. He later worked as a staff writer on the series. He has also appeared in and served as a writer on “The Underground” and starred in the Wayans family comedy “Dance Flick” as the film’s main character, Thomas.

The Comedy Club is South Florida’s premier venue for stand-up comedy and hosts acclaimed comedians weekly, including top-name talent recognized on TV and streaming platforms. The new 400-seat venue offers a variety of seating including plush couches, family-style tables and highboys, and a full bar with light food options.
