MMA Action Fight League Announces Full Fight Card for “War at the Rock” at Hard Rock Event Center Saturday, Feb. 16, at 7 p.m.

Action Fight League (AFL) announced today the full fight card for its much-anticipated professional mixed-martial-arts event, “War at The Rock,” at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. on Saturday, Feb. 16, at 7 p.m.

In an updated main event, hot prospect Felipe “Buakaw” Douglas (16-4-0) of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and former UFC fighter Yosdenis “Pink Panther” Cedeno (11-6-1) of Cuba clash in the main event for the vacant “War at the Rock” Featherweight Championship.

Undefeated rising flyweight star Christian Ynastrilla (3-0-0) of Miami takes on Cuba-native Edwin “The Emperor” Sarria (4-2-0) of Miami in the co-featured event for the vacant ISKA Flyweight Championship.

A special female strawweight attraction is also on tap as American Top Team fighter Jessica Branco, fighting out of Fort Lauderdale, makes her pro debut against Yajaira “Pantera Negra” Cunningham (1-0-0) of Miami, showcasing two of Florida’s top female prospects.

Also fighting on the main card is former All-America wrestler Danny Sabatello (2-0-0) who is stepping up in class to fight Argentinian opponent Jeremias Fernandez (5-5-1), while Miami welterweight Kendly St. Louis (1-1-0) will throw down with Ramon “Angel of War” Butts (0-4-0) of Jacksonville, Fla.

“The main event is a classic battle of styles between Brazilian Jui-Jitsu master Felipe Douglas and dangerous Cuban striker Yosdenis Cedeno,” said AFL Spokesperson Rick Finn.  “A lot is on the line for these two standout fighters because an impressive victory could be career-changing for the winner, as the UFC is scouting them at this fight.”

“Felipe is one of the most exciting fighters to come out of Brazil since Anderson Silva,” said Alex Davis, who is Douglas’ manager. “Cedeno was supposed to fight Michel Quinones, who withdrew with an injury, but I think now we have an even better match up.”

The undercard has Puerto Rican welterweight James Hay (1-0-0) fighting West Palm Beach’s Chris Salerno. The undercard also features Davie, Fla.’s Devon Lira going head-to-head against Miami’s Adrian Garcia in their pro debuts, and Miramar, Fla.’s Chris Boasso (0-1-0) fighting Miami’s Joseph Billingsley (1-5-0).

All fights and fighters are subject to change.

Tickets cost $100, $70, $55 and $40. VIP packages are also available for purchase.
