Hollywood, Fla. (March 23, 2018) – Legendary R&B groups Kool & The Gang and Maze featuring Frankie Beverly will perform at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. at the resort’s new Hard Rock Event Center on Wednesday, May 16, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 30, at 10 a.m. American Express cardholders can purchase tickets beginning Wednesday, March 28, at 10 a.m. Fans can access presale tickets beginning Thursday, March 29, at 10 a.m. through Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood’s Facebook and Twitter pages.

Kool & The Gang has influenced music for three generations and performed continuously for the past 43 years, which is longer than any R&B group in history. Their bulletproof funk and jazzy arrangements has earned the band multiple awards and recognitions throughout their career. The band received two Grammy Awards, seven American Music Awards, and 31 gold and platinum albums for hits including, “Celebration,” “Cherish,” “Jungle Boogie,” “Summer Madness” and “Open Sesame.” Additionally, these songs have made it to the 25 Top Ten R&B hits and nine Top Ten Pop hits.

In 2016, Kool & The Gang released the single, “Sexy (Where’d You Get Yours),” which rose to No. 15 on the Billboard Adult R&B chart. The song signifies a modernization of Kool & The Gang’s unmistakable sound, tailored bass grooves and perfectly timed horns. “Sexy (Where’d You Get Yours)” marked the band’s first airplay chart hit in a decade.

For nearly three decades, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly has created music that is original, innovative and instantly recognizable.
