Hollywood, Fla. (Nov. 27, 2017) – Due to popular demand, Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. has added a second performance for Emmy Award-winning comedian, author and host of “The Daily Show” Trevor Noah on Friday, Jan. 26, 2018. The second show will start at 10:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 10 a.m. Fans will have access to presale tickets beginning Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 10 a.m. through Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood’s Facebook and Twitter pages.

Trevor Noah is considered the most successful comedian in Africa and is the current host of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” which has won both Emmy and Peabody awards. He first joined “The Daily Show” in 2014 as a contributor and later took over as host following Jon Stewart’s departure in 2015.

Most recently, Noah debuted his ninth comedy special, “Afraid of the Dark,” on Netflix in February 2017. In November 2016, Noah released his first book, “Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood,” an instant New York Times best-seller, which chronicles his life from his upbringing to his departure for the U.S. while living in the ghettos and South African apartheid. Additionally, his performance on the “Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood” audiobook was Audible’s highest-rated audiobook of 2016, and has remained one of the top selling titles since its release. The book also received the Thurber Prize for American Humor and two NAACP Image Awards, one for Outstanding Literary Work by a Debut Author and another for Outstanding Literary Work in the biography/autobiography category.

The book is collection of personal stories about growing up in South Africa during the last gasps of apartheid and the tumultuous days of freedom that came with its demise. Already known for his incisive social and political commentary, here Noah turns his focus inward, giving readers an intimate look at the world that shaped him. These are true stories, sometimes dark, occasionally bizarre, frequently tender, and always hilarious. Whether subsisting on caterpillars during months of extreme poverty or making comically hapless attempts at teenage romance, from the time he was thrown in jail to the time he was thrown from a speeding car driven by murderous gangsters, the experiences covered in this book will shock and amaze, even as they leave you rolling on the floor with laughter. The audiobook version performed by Noah is currently available from Audible Studios.

Tickets cost $90, $60 and $40. All seats are reserved and available at all Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.myhrl.com, www.ticketmaster.com or charge by phone: 1-800-745-3000. Doors open one hour prior to show start time. Additional fees may apply.
