Council Oak Steaks & Seafood at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Introduces New Dinner Creations

Hollywood, Fla. (June 29, 2017) – Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s acclaimed steakhouse, bar and lounge – Council Oak Steaks & Seafood – has introduced a selection of summer-inspired dishes. Thoughtfully crafted appetizers, salads, dry-aged cuts and wagyu beef, specialty selections and sides are featured with a lighter take on classic staples and new menu items. Whether experiencing a refreshing twist on a must-have favorite, or experimenting with an attention-catching standout, Council Oak’s unique culinary offerings are perfectly imagined for the South Florida summer.

New appetizers include Live Jumbo Soft Shell Crab with summer succotash and caper vinaigrette; Steamed Mussels in a garlic-infused tomato broth served with grilled ciabatta bread; and Florida Reef Lionfish with melted fennel and citrus. Refreshed salads highlight seasonal ingredients such as the Heirloom Tomato salad with French feta, Marcona almonds, red onions and lemon vinaigrette; Chopped salad with salami, prosciutto, bacon, tomatoes, egg, mozzarella and house vinaigrette; and a new take on the classic Iceberg salad – an iceberg wedge with red wine vinaigrette, Applewood-smoked bacon, radish and Affinee blue cheese, accompanied with a olive vodka martini.

Featuring a Himalayan salt brick wall, Council Oak’s in-house Butcher Shop provides the restaurant with steaks and chops that are dry-aged for up to 28 days, personally selected and hand-cut. The 21 oz. Bone-In New York Strip is the newest dry-aged addition. A first to the menu is a certified wagyu beef 10 oz. Japanese A4 Kumamoto Prefecture and a 16 oz. American Masami Ranch California. New specialties include a 16 oz. Bone-In Filet Mignon; Brick Chicken with sunchoke puree, heirloom carrots, grilled artichoke and smoked onion jus; Chilean Seabass with rock shrimp tomato scampi and wild arugula; and Whole Florida Snapper with fennel tomato compote. Guests are encouraged to pair dishes with an array of new side options including Broccolini with Garlic and Lemon; Herbed French Fries; Cauliflower and Piquillo Peppers; and Grilled Corn with Queso Blanco.

Council Oak is located at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino at One Seminole Way in Hollywood, Florida.
