HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (March 15, 2017) – A potential “phone-free” transformation of South Florida’s entertainment scene continues on Wednesday, March 29 and Thursday, March 30 at 8 p.m., when Grammy and Emmy Award-winning comedian, actor, director, writer and producer Chris Rock brings “The Total Blackout Tour 2017” to Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla.  As with other venues on the tour, cell phones and other mobile devices are prohibited, and they must be held by guests in locked Yondr cases during the show.

Yondr cases are lockable, flexible, neoprene pouches that assure a phone-free event experience.  Upon entry to Hard Rock Live, guests with mobile devices will receive Yondr cases and must secure their devices, including smart watches and cameras, inside the locked cases.  Guests will be required to switch their phone to vibrate to avoid disruption from incoming notifications. Doors to Hard Rock Live will open 90 minutes prior to the start of the 8 p.m. show to allow guests ample time to secure their phones and take their seats.

It is the responsibility of each guest to maintain possession of their mobile device inside the arena.  If needed, guests may access their phones at designated Yondr unlocking stations in the lobby.  Show attendees who access their phone during the performance will be required to leave the arena without ticket refunds.

“The Total Blackout Tour 2017” is Rock’s first tour in more than nine years.  The Chris Rock show is the first phone-free event at Hard Rock Live and follows South Florida’s first phone-free show, which recently took place in Coral Springs.  Yondr cases have been used in various U.S. markets by Dave Chappelle, Childish Gambino, Alicia Keys, Guns N Roses, and the Lumineers.  Yondr is also used in schools and courthouses.

Some tickets are still available and cost $180, $130, $105, $85 and $65.* All seats are reserved and available at all Ticketmaster outlets online at www.myhrl.com, www.ticketmaster.com or charge by phone: 1-800-745-3000.  *Additional fees may apply.
