Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame presents La Musa Awards 10th Anniversary Concert Celebration starring Juanes, Carlos Vives, Cnco, Emanuel, Emilio & Gloria Estefan, Jose Feliciano, Yotuel, Beatriz Luengo, Descemer Bueno, Gente De Zon, El Funky, Elena Rose, Marlow Rosado, Elena Burke, Marlena Burke and many more!

LSHOF 2022 Inductees include multi-award-winning songwriters and producers Rudy Pérez and Desmond Child (co-founders of the organization who serve respectively as LSHOF Chairman/CEO and Chairman Emeritus) whose body of work has earned each the respect and admiration not only of their peers but also of the worldwide audience that has over decades embraced the power and uniqueness of their music. Composer of iconic Latin music standards (“Cuando, Cuando, Cuando”, “The Prayer”) Tony Renis will also be inducted, along with Dominican singer, band leader, and merengue pioneer Johnny Ventura, who will be inducted posthumously.

This year’s LA MUSA AWARDS honorees are Mexican singer Emmanuel, who will receive the La Musa Legacy Award; Apple Sr. Vice President Eddy Cue (Desi Arnaz Pioneer Award); Spanish composer Manuel Alejandro (La Musa Living Legend Award); Gustavo Menéndez, Warner Chappell Music President, US Latin & Latin America (Ralph S. Peer Publisher Award); Walter Kolm, Founder and CEO of Walter Kolm Entertainment (Founders Award); Elena Rose (La Musa Elena Casals Award). In addition José Feliciano’s beloved classic “Feliz Navidad” will be recognized as this year’s Song of All Time. And for the first time, in honor of the 10th Anniversary of LSHOF, a new award will be presented: La Musa Medal of Freedom (recognizing inspiring songs of global impact) to the distinguished group of songwriters of the Grammy winning “Patria Y Vida.” The composers (all still pending* ) include Yotuel Romero, Beatriz Luengo, Descemer Bueno, Luis Manuel Otero Alcántara, Maykel Osorbo, DJ El Funky, Alexander Delgado & Randy Malcom Martínez.

The 2022 LA MUSA AWARDS initiates the partnership of LSHOF with Hard Rock International & Hard Rock Live which will become the new home of the Induction and Special Awards ceremony that each year recognizes the greatest composers, lyricists, musicians and artists in the history of Latin music. Previous honorees collectively embody the infinite diversity of styles and sensibilities that comprise the magnificent Hispanic cultural spectrum.
