To apply for media credentials, carefully read the following information.
Working journalists and photographers over the age of 21 that fall under one of the following categories may apply online no later than seven business days prior to the requested event. Only one application should be completed by each media outlet by an assigning editor or producer. Walk-up requests for press credentials or interviews will not be granted. Upon review and approval of an application by the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino public relations department and the performer's publicist / management team, applicants will be issued an email of acceptance no sooner than one week before the concert. All applications are carefully screened. Access to the artist(s) and rules during a performance are most typically dictated from artist management.
Hard Rock Event Center and Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino reserve the right to approve or deny accreditation, and revoke an issued press pass at any time. Prior approval of credentials does not guarantee a credential to another event. Credentials are distributed on a case-by-case basis. A very limited amount of media credentials are available per event. The decisions are final and cannot be appealed. Please note: All media passes at Hard Rock Event Center are NON-TRANSFERABLE.
Media Review Tickets
Media credentials for an event at Hard Rock Event Center are reserved for working print, online and broadcast journalists with commercial news organizations that produce and publish original content. In the "Link" section, a byline article from your publication, written by you and published within the last two months, must be included (the copy must clearly show the name of your publication and your byline). Media review tickets include event admittance and complimentary seats. No backstage or photo pit access. Artist meet and greets are completely dependent on the artists' management.
Photographers and Videographers
Photographers and videographers must be on assignment from a working print, online or broadcast commercial news organization. All photographers and videographers applying to cover any and all events at Hard Rock Event Center are required to use professional photography or videography equipment, only. No photographs or video may be recorded on a personal device such as a point-and-shoot camera, Flip cam, cell phone, etc. Spec photography/video, portfolio photography/video and personal website photography/video are not valid assignments.
All photographers must be escorted throughout Hard Rock Event Center by a Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood public relations representative, and must adhere to the policies and direction given. Photographers who intentionally block guests in attendance or distract the performer(s) will immediately be escorted out of Hard Rock Event Center. Shooting beyond the limits of the approved media policy and assigned locations will result in being banned from future shooting at Hard Rock Event Center. Photo/video credentials include admittance into the specified photo/video location of Hard Rock Event Center, only. No backstage access. Artist meet and greets are completely dependent on the artists' management.
Webzines and Bloggers
Websites must be previously established and updated regularly (at least every seven days) with original and current news, and have a minimum of 20,000 unique hits per month via Google Analytics. To qualify as online media, please provide a URL in the "Link" section to your online publication with your name and title appearing in a by-lined interactive entertainment, lifestyle or travel industry-related article from your publication written by you and published within the last 30 days (the copy must clearly show your byline). Credentials for webzines and bloggers are extremely limited and will be evaluated closely.
Interview requests must be submitted no later than 30 days in advance and expressed in the "Special Notes" section. Please include available dates, times, a link to a previous interview you conducted and published, and deadline.
NOTE: Marketing, public relations, advertising, sales, art directors, managers, publishers and other non-editorial professionals of media organizations are NOT eligible for press passes.
