Event to Benefit Musicians On Call in Support of Music Healing
HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – The month of March will be rockin' as Hard Rock International hosts March on Stage 2010, a global live music series featuring high-caliber iconic and emerging artists, who will come together at Hard Rock locations around the globe, generously donating their time and talents in support of the greater good. On Friday, March 26, 2010, Hard Rock Cafe – Hollywood, FL will host a performance by their 2009 Battle of the Bands finalist Ghost of Gloria and Melissa Burnos. Ghost of Gloria recently is a four piece modern rock band out of south Florida who fuses the unique talents and influences of each member into an unforgettable modern melodic-rock sound.
Melissa Burnos explodes onto the rock scene with her epic music seducing audiences and critics alike. Delivering her poignant and provocative lyrics takes audiences on an intense emotional odyssey. Burnos leaves all who see and hear her spellbound, a "natural entertainer."
Committed to its "Love All – Serve All" creed, Hard Rock International has championed philanthropic causes for close to four decades. Hard Rock will donate proceeds from March on Stage events in North America to Musicians On Call, an organization founded with the mission of bringing live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities. Additionally, limited-edition March on Stage merchandise will be sold at Hard Rock locations around the world and on www.hardrock.com with proceeds benefiting the charity, including the 2010 March on Stage collectible pin, which resembles a black guitar with green stars and gold lightning bolts on the body, and Hard Rock's logo atop the strings. 15 percent of the retail price of the limited-edition pin will be donated to the benefitting charities.
