    Artist LEBO to Add Final Brush Strokes and Detail to 10' Guitar Sculpture for Public Art Display on Tuesday, September 1 from Noon - 2 P.M.

     

    Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino to be the Exclusive Broward Venue for Public Art Display and Charity Auction

     

    WHAT:            Artist LEBO, aka David LeBatard, a visual multi-media storyteller known for his collaborative live painting sessions with the Beastie Boys, Bela Fleck and Arturo Sandoval, will be making his final brush strokes on his never-seen-before 10-foot-tall guitar sculpture, part of Miami GuitarTown's last showing. His exclusive guitar sculpture will be among the 70+ sculptures and showcase guitars on display throughout the property including Seminole Paradise as of Sept. 2 for three weeks prior to the Sept. 26 star-studded charity auction to benefit the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood, the Miami Children's Hospital Foundation and the Miami Music & Art Fund.

     

    LEBO's work has been collected at the highest levels of celebrity; keynote pieces can be found amidst the permanent collections of such trendsetting corporations as Redbull, Bacardi, Universal Music Group, Sony Pictures, the Grammy Association, and Gibson Guitars, whose patronage of David includes residency at their Miami Design District Gibson Showroom. 

     

    Celebrities who have lent their name and support to the project include event Celebrity Counsel Gloria Estefan, Katy Perry, Andy Garcia, The Allman Brothers, Paulina Rubio and many more.

The Miami GuitarTown project is presented by Gibson Guitar and is a community wide arts project designed to benefit local charities and create an exuberant display of art that gathers worldwide attention for the city host. Gibson GuitarTown's have been hosted in Nashville, Austin, Orlando and London. The Gibson Foundation administers the project and charities which are named as beneficiaries share equally in all proceeds raised through sponsorship and an auction gala which culminates the project and is hosted by Julien's Auctions.
