Hollywood, Fla. (August 4, 2014) – Grammy award-winning legends Chicago bring their big brass and timeless hits to Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 8 p.m. Fans will have access to presale tickets beginning Thursday, August 7 at 10 a.m. through Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood's Facebook, Twitter and Google+ pages.

Hailed as "one of the most important bands in music since the dawn of the rock and roll era" by former President Bill Clinton, this legendary group's achievements include a 1977 Grammy Award for "Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group" for the hit "If You Leave Me Now" from the album "Chicago X" (1976), a 1977 and 1986 American Music Award for "Favorite Group – Pop/Rock" and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Chicago's record sales top the 100,000,000 mark and include 21 top 10 singles, five consecutive No. 1 albums, 11 No. 1 singles and five gold singles. The band has 47 gold and platinum awards and 25 of the group's 36 albums have been certified platinum.

In 2013, the group's multi-platinum two-disc bestseller, "The Very Best Of Chicago: Only The Beginning" (2002) charted at No. 1 on Billboard's Catalog chart and Digital Catalog chart, making Chicago the first American rock band to chart Top 40 albums in six decades. That same year, Billboard Magazine's list of Top 100 Artists of all Time ranked Chicago at No. 13, the highest charting American band of all time.

In 2014, the album "Chicago Transit Authority" (1969) was inducted into the Grammy Hall Of Fame. The band then performed on the Grammy stage for the first time in 2014, performing four songs with Grammy nominee Robin Thicke.

This year, Chicago released a record of new studio tracks titled "NOW" CHICAGO XXXVI, released on July 8 on Frontiers Records. It includes 11 brand new songs, recorded on the road. The group has built a new recording system that is flexible, portable, powerful and musical. This new "recording rig" travels with the band. They have even created an online collaboration portal that allows even more performances to be worked on around the clock from remote locations. The CD package is a six-panel digipack with a 16-page full-color lyric booklet.

The line-up on tour will include original band members Robert Lamm on keyboards and vocals, Lee Loughnane on trumpet, James Pankow on trombone and Walt Parazaider on woodwinds, as well as Jason Scheff on bass and vocals, Tris Imboden on drums, Keith Howland on guitar, Lou Pardini on keyboards and vocals and Wally Reyes on percussion. The band has toured every year since the beginning and is now in its 47th consecutive year of touring.

For the past four years, Chicago have raised over a quarter of a million dollars to fight breast cancer for the American Cancer Society by having a winning bidder at every concert come on stage and sing "If You Leave Me Now" with the band.

Chicago also donates a portion of ticket sales to the Ara Parseghian Medical Research Foundation, which seeks a cure for Niemann-Pick Type C, a fatal children's disease, and Hannah & Friends, an organization that serves children and adults with special needs.

Tickets cost $80, $60, $50 & $40*; all seats are reserved and available at all Ticketmaster outlets online at www.myhrl.com, www.ticketmaster.com or charge by phone: 1-800-745-3000. Doors open one-hour prior to show start time. *Additional fees may apply. Ticket price includes $1 that will be donated to Chicago's charity.
