Sara Bareilles first achieved mainstream critical praise in 2007 with her widely successful hit "Love Song," which reached #1 in 22 countries and lead to two Grammy nominations for Song of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. Since then, the California native has sold more than one million copies of her debut album Little Voice.

Bareilles' critically acclaimed 2010 sophomore release Kaleidoscope Heart debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart. The album yielded the hit single "King of Anything," which was certified platinum by the RIAA and earned Bareilles her third Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

In 2011, Bareilles joined the judge's panel on the hit NBC show The Sing-Off, where she met fellow judge and singer/songwriter Ben Folds, who would go on to produce her next project, critically acclaimed Once Upon Another Time EP.

In early 2012, Bareilles released a documentary titled A Trace of the Sun: Volunteering in Japan, which chronicled her trip to Japan. She joined All Hands Volunteer efforts in the city of Ofunato after the 2011 earthquake and tsunami that devastated coastal cities and left over 26,000 people without homes.

Her highly anticipated third studio album, The Blessed Unrest, was released in 2013 and debuted at #2 on the Billboard album chart. The album has since gone on to achieve critical praise and earned Sara two Grammy Award nominations for Album of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for her smash breakout single "Brave."
