Third Annual PNC Bank Non-Profit Academy Awards Presented by 2-1-1-Broward and Hosted by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Takes Place Friday, February 22 at Noon

 
The 3rd Annual PNC Bank Non-Profit Academy Awards presented by 2-1-1 Broward and hosted by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will honor Broward County's non-profit organizations and leaders for their dedication and impact on the community.

 

The award categories include: The Wasie Foundation Non-Profit Organization of the Year – Collaboration; OK Generators Outstanding Non-Profit Board Leader of the Year; Patriot National Insurance Group Non-Profit Organization of the Year – Innovation;  Broward College Outstanding Non-Profit Leader of the YearAutoNation Lifetime Achievement Award; Non-Profit Organization of the Year - The Arts; Calvin, Giordano & Associates Non-Profit Organization of the Year - Rising Star; Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Outstanding Non-Profit Organization of the Year and the Publix Community Choice Award.

 

The winners in each category will receive an Academy Award-style statue and $1,000 for the corresponding non-profit organizations.  The other two finalists in each category will be awarded $500 each (the grants awarded for The Wasie Foundation Non-Profit Organization of the Year – Collaboration category will be divided equally among the collaborating organizations). All other non-profits nominated will be included in the Community Choice Award, which will be decided by votes received from the community.
