HARD ROCK GETS INTO BED FOR THE CAUSE™
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Launches "PINKTOBER™," 12th Annual Breast Cancer Research & Awareness Campaign

 

Proceeds from Selected Room Stays, Drinks and PINKTOBER Merchandise to Benefit Breast Cancer Research Foundation; Lita Ford and Other Shows to Benefit Memorial Breast Cancer Center

 

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Get into the pink this fall by celebrating PINKTOBER™ at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood!  This year marks the 12th year of Hard Rock International's support for breast cancer research and awareness and the fourth year for Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood's efforts. Hard Rock will donate proceeds from specially designated "pink-sheet" hotel rooms and Hard Rock Cafe - Hollywood limited edition PINKTOBER collectibles and apparel to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation ®, the Caron Keating Foundation and select local charities worldwide.

 

Additional proceeds from this year's regional PINKTOBER campaign featuring a concert by Lita Ford and the Fire Brigade plus other local shows will benefit the Memorial Breast Cancer Center.

 

Once again, the hotel has set aside special "Get into Bed" PINKTOBER pink-hued, guitar-embossed Sleep Like a Rock bedded guest rooms with 25 percent of the room rate to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The PINKTOBER room packages start at $229 (plus tax) for one night (Sunday – Friday, only) and include a complimentary commemorative PINKTOBER Hard Rock pin and a PINKTOBER t-shirt, a $25 Hard Rock Cafe food credit, a $25 Beach Club or Blue Plate food credit and a $25 Body Rock Spa credit. The select guestrooms will also be outfitted with special collectible PINKTOBER bathrobes that can be purchased in the Body Rock Spa and Seminole Hard Rock Retail Store, with a portion of the proceeds donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, pink towels and pink duvets. Guests will have an added opportunity to contribute additional funds to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation upon checking out.

 

Additionally, the Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood will be donating 75 percent of the retail purchase price of its limited edition collectible PINKTOBER Hard Rock pins ($12) and 15 percent of the retail purchase price of its men's and women's pink t-shirts ($24); "Sleep Like A Rock" bedding sheet sets (queen $100, king $120); robes ($80); and bags ($12) to the cause.

 

Soft pastel and hot pink hues will also liven up Center Bar, the Lobby Bar and the Beach Club as bartenders serve up Strawberry Basil Margaritas ($9), Strawberry Basil Lemonade ($5), Herbal Remedies ($9), and Raspberry Berets ($9). One dollar from the purchase price of each drink will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

 

A variety of concerts in the Hard Rock Cafe - Hollywood will benefit the Memorial Breast Cancer Center. On October 14 10 p.m. catch Lita Ford with Fire Brigade, on October 21 10 p.m. enjoy live entertainment with Stereotomy and on October 27 6 p.m. Melissa Burnos heats up the Hard Rock Cafe for the cause.
