SUMMARY Under the direction of the Sous Chef, the incumbent assists with preparation of foods in assigned kitchen outlet. High School Diploma or Equivalent. A culinary apprenticeship, an A.O.S. degree from a culinary institution or an equivalent with some industry experience is preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
- Assures that the working area is clean and sanitary in accordance with local and state health department codes.
- Serves all guests according to established standards of quality and in pre-determined portions.
- Assures that all food preparation and service areas are in accordance with the local, state and Federal health department codes.
- Follows department Standards and Procedures.
- Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
- Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Employment Preference
The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to other members of federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
